Today mum and I went down to Stephen Avenue to have lunch on the patio and do some shopping. It was people watching primetime downtown, there are tons of people out and about for Stampede and I loved it! Don't even know the name of the restaurant we ate at, all I know is a table opened on the patio and we sniped it. In the Stampede/Alberta spirit we had some beef. delish. Went into Holt and dreamed about having soo many beautiful things, and then left before I started to cry. JK, one day, one day...
New linen shorts from Aritzia, on sale, love! Soo comfy and easy to pair with soo many things.
Last day of wearing cowboy boots to work - can't even express how excited I am, my poor feet.

True Grit

So its Stampede time here in Calgary, and the western gear is out in full force. I was at the grounds last weekend and you really get to see soo many different interpretations of western style. I like to stick with a flowey summer dress and boots, or distressed shorts and a cowboy inspired shirt. Ralph Lauren always seems to have a Navajo/Western theme going on and this season they had some beauties. Zoe Kravitz definitely has a great look going on. The last picture is of my new favourite thing in the world. I feel more for these boots than any man, and they're guaranteed to never forget to call. I'll post pics from Stampede soon.
